How to get to the city centre from the Lanzarote airport?

When going on holidays to Lanzarote, you need to know how to get to the city centre from the airport. In today’s post, we’ll go over how to get to Arrecife from the Lanzarote airport and back, whether you should choose a bus or a taxi and how much it will cost you.

Lanzarote Airport is located on the south coast of the island, near the city of Arrecife, about 3 miles from its centre. The airport served over 7,000,000 passengers in 2019, with the help of WizzAir, Ryanair, Eurowings, Jet2 and Easyjet.

You can also rent a car from one of the many popular rentals at the airport. The drive to the centre is very straightforward, as the LZ-2 road will take you directly to Arrecife. A hired car is also a great way to get around the island in general, so we’d recommend it if you have the cash for it.
