It’s far away from summer that people should already be dropping out while the temperatures are typically still quite high in many of the popular holiday destinations. Is Rhodes one such place? Temperatures in Rhodes in October
The average daytime temperatures in Rhodes sit around 24°C, though it’ll be a few degrees warmer at the beginning of the month than at the end. In 2023, this meant that the beginning saw a streak of 28°Cs. At night, average temperatures drop to around 17°C. As such, it’s still nice and warm while not too overwhelming. A perfect month for hiking!
One final temperature to check is the sea. Here, we also have a pleasant surprise, as it’s usually around 23°C. This means you can totally go hit up a beach in October and still have a pleasant bath!
Weather in October
Apart from temperatures, we also have rainfall and daylight to check. Compared to summer in Rhodes, there’s infinitely more rain – in practice, this means about 4 days a month on average. So not too bad. Days are quite long, at 11 hours of daylight. 8 of these are sunshine, so it’s predominantly still summer-like, just a little less extreme. It’s a perfect compromise month – it’s still mildly warm while you’ll certainly encounter way fewer tourists on your path.
