What’s the water temperature in Fuerteventura in July and August?

Planning a holiday in the Canaries in July or August and want to know whether you’ll be able to bathe in the waters of Fuerteventura? Understandable, since, after all, nobody likes water that is too cold on holidays

Today’s post will answer that for you.

Is the water warm in Fuerteventura in July?

The Canary Islands are well known for being a fantastic spot for lovers of heat, beaches and water sports. What helps their reputation is that both the air and water temperatures don’t really change much all year round. In July, the water temperature averages at around 21 degrees Celsius, though, perhaps sadly, it doesn’t really exceed 23 degrees. Still, it’s more than pleasant enough for a short swim.

Is the water warm in Fuerteventura in August?

In August, the water temperatures in Fuerteventura rise a bit and reach upwards of 24 degrees Celsius. This is not that big a difference from the previous month, 2 degrees of fluctuation up and down at best. Still, though perhaps not as warm as some Mediterranean spots, it’s still an ideal temperature for a variety of water sports and for your general swimming needs.
