Firstly, the centre of Palma, Mallorca’s largest city, is approximately 5 miles from the airport. You can get there from the airport in several ways. The most economical of these is undoubtedly to take the public bus nr. 1. There are two stops at the airport – one on level 0, near the arrivals hall, and the other on level 2, near the departures hall.

So how much will the bus from the Mallorca Airport to the city centre cost you? A single ticket is priced at €5. You can also opt for a combined two-way trip, for which you’ll pay €8. Buses run from the airport from 6:00am to 2:00am. The vehicles are air-conditioned and the journey takes roughly 25 minutes.

This is the cheapest available way to get from Mallorca Airport to the city centre, unless you wish to walk, though it is not the only driven option you have. You can also get a taxi.

If you wish to skip out on the joy of public buses and take the more comfortable option, the trip via a taxi will cost you €25. The taxi rank is located by the arrivals hall. Taxis do also shorten the trip down to 15 minutes, so do consider the extra cost if you’re short on time for whatever reason.
