Where is the Christmas Market in Milan?
Though the Christmas Market in Milan may not be comparable to the biggest ones in the rest of Europe, it’s still wonderfully charming because of its location.
The Milan Christmas Market is located in Piazza Duomo, right next to the Milan Cathedral. The Piazza is literally in the centre of Milan, so you can seamlessly incorporate it into most itineraries. You’ll find over 60 stalls with food, souvenirs and all sorts of artisans offering their goods. As you can imagine, this is the main Christmas Market of Milan, though it’s not the only one.
There’s also a Christmas Market in Piazza del Castello, right next to the Sforza Castle. It’s the oldest one in Milan, with all the goods you would expect from a Christmas market.
Finally, there’s a Christmas market at Giardini Indro Montanelli, the Winter Wonderland – an extremely atmospheric place with a nativity scene, a Christmas tree and, of course, loads of stalls.
There are a few other markets available, like the Creativa Artigiana Market, the Green Christmas market and the East market, though we listed the three that we’d personally recommend.
