The Merano Christmas Market is located in the heart of this small Italian town, right on the Passirio Boulevard. How do I get to the Merano Christmas market? The best way is by car or train. Trains run from Bolzano every 30 minutes or so, you can find more information here: https://www.suedtirolmobil.info/en/.
How to get to Merano by car and where to park?
Merano is located about 20 miles north of Bolzano, so the best way to get there is to take the A22 motorway and then the SS38 in Bolzano – after 15 miles, you can take the road to the Merano Centro.
We can recommend two car parks in Merano – one is the Thermal Baths car park, right in the centre with an hourly rate of €3 per hour. The other, a little further away, is the Karl Wolf car park, with €2.40 per hour. There’s also a newer central car park, the St. Josef, with €3 per hour as well.
