During the days of Advent, you’ll be able to hear the famous bells of Vipiteno – every day, at 5pm, you’ll be able to hear the beautiful melody as you stroll through the charming city. If you’re headed to the Christmas Market, then you’ll find it right in the city centre, on Stadtplatz.

Some Christmas Markets in Italy last over a month, usually starting as early as November. The same is true in Vipiteno. Here are the dates:
The Christmas market in Vipiteno starts on 23 November 2023 and ends on 6 January 2024.
The Christmas market in Vipiteno is closed on the 25th of December!
Opening hours of the Sterzing Christmas Market:
– daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
– 24 December from 10 am to 1 pm
– 31 December from 10 am to 5 pm
– 1 January from 12 (noon) to 7pm
Where to park in Vipiteno/Sterzing?
Near Christmas, finding a spot can be quite challenging – the centre is often closed. You’ll find the best car parks next to the Parkplatz Centre or Via Stazione, 8 in the Europaplatz car park.
