Bergamo is a city and municipality located in the northern part of Italy in the province of Bergamo in the region of Lombardy. The capital of Lombardy is, of course, Milan. Bergamo is the fourth largest city in Lombardy. Despite being only the fourth largest city in the region, it is, along with Milan, one of its largest and, according to 2017 data, the second most visited city in the region.
