If you’re coming to Bergamo for a few hours and don’t want to walk around the city with a suitcase then, of course, baggage storage facilities in Bergamo come to the rescue. Where are they located? In different places but the most important are two.
The most important luggage storage facilities in Bergamo are at the airport and the train station. How much does it cost to store my luggage in Bergamo?
The baggage storage facility at Bergamo Airport, operated by Autostradale, is located next to car park P1 and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please note that from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. to collect or drop off your baggage you will need to contact the operator on + 39 3356301944 or 035 322915. The cost to store baggage at Bergamo Airport is €5 per day. Please note the price in the middle of the 2023 season may already be slightly higher.
We have more options for storing luggage near the train station closer to the centre of Bergamo (see also: getting from the airport to the centre of Bergamo). Lockers for luggage storage, similar to the parcel machines we know from Poland, are located in Piazzale Guglielmo Marconi and are open 24 hours a day. The cost is €5. However, they are not suitable for travellers with very large suitcases. Large luggage must be left at the office, which is located nearby.
Close to the station is another Deposito Bagagli outlet in via Geremia Bonomelli 3A. The inconspicuous point operates daily from 7am to 8pm so is not suitable for travellers who want to collect their luggage before a later evening or overnight departure or flight.
Luggage storage lockers are also located near the Adalberto Tower at Torre di Adalberto but are only open from 8:30am to 7pm in high season and from 9:30am to 5pm in low season.
