The matter is, thankfully, quite simple: trains depart from Bergamo’s main station, the Stazione Ferroviaria, at Piazza Guglielmo Marconi. These arrive in Milan at either Milano Porta Garibaldi or Milano Centrale. There’s also a connection from Bergamo to Monza, near Milan.

Train tickets from Bergamo to Milan and vice versa currently cost from €5 to €5.80 (with €5 being the cost for booking in advance).
Train tickets from Bergamo to Monza currently cost €4.40.

These prices are regulated regionally and, as such, aren’t subject to much fluctuation. There’s a difference in the price depending on how early you book.
