The Roman Forum is the oldest and the most important square in Rome. Also referred to as Forum Romanum is a must-see in Rome, though it must be said that it’s not free. You’ll need a ticket. How much will such a ticket to the Roman Forum cost?

An ordinary ticket for the Roman Forum costs €18. It includes entry to the Roman Forum, a one-time visit to the Colosseum and the Palatine. The ticket is valid for 24 hours. Due to high demand, we’d advise you to book your tickets well in advance. There are also seasonal exhibitions which are included in the price.

Discounted tickets are available for children and young people: for a ticket with the same rules as the ones described above, you have to pay only €2. Roma Pass owners can get in for free, though they still have to pay €2 for the reservation.

Prices for guided tours of the Roman Forum, Colosseum and Palatine start at around €33. The price depends on a number of factors, such as the size of the group, the language spoken and the reputation of the company responsible for organising the tour.
